The 2015 Jones'n Party is in the books. It was a great party, just wish I could have stayed longer for the movies. I heard they were good.
I received an email from Mary Hawes of the Autobahn Riders in Sioux Falls. The Autobahn is hosting a ride-in to Martinsburg, NE for noon this Saturday (March 14th). All Big Sioux Riders and friends are welcome. If you want any further details contact dalenordlie@sio.midco.net .
Bak BMW's Open House on March 28th. Pencil that date in on your calenders. The annual spring open house is now officially the last Saturday in March every year.
The monthly meeting is normally the third Tuesday, but Pres. Terry has requested that we move it from St. Patty's Day (Feb 17th) to Tuesday, Feb 24th. Right now we are planning on a ride. Meet at the Gordon HyVee at 6 PM if the weather looks good. I'll send an alternative out if we are not riding later.
If anyone wants to ride with Jim near Jasper, Arkansas in April contact him (jimj@urbaninc.com). The dates he is going there will be April 22-26 according to my BSR Calender.
It is rumored that 2015 will be the last year of the Branson Blitz. The official date of the Blitz this year is April 17-19th. Original Randy and I are planning on being in Missouri and Arkansas the week of April 11-19. The Branson details are here: http://tinyurl.com/nlqevap . The hotel is the Honeysuckle Inn and Conference Center, 3598 Shepard of the Hills, Branson - 1-888-386-3648. Mention "Internet BMW Riders" when you call to get a room and a discount. You don't have to bring a BMW, there are plenty of all types of bikes there.

ReplyDeleteFirst, Judy Walker and Lynn Johnson's mother and Jim Johnson's mother-in-law, Dorthy Walker, passed away Tuesday evening. She will be missed by her family, friends and those who knew her.
Secondly, Don't forget Dave Bak has a ride the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. These rides meet at the shop at 6 PM and there normally is some grilling afterwards. A hat is passed to cover Dave's food costs. If the weather does not cooperate, there is usually some activity at the shop instead of riding. The next ride is tonight, March 11th and the weather looks good.
Lastly, I added the first 4 European Bike Night Ride-in in Lincoln to the calender.
