Monthly Meetings
The Big Sioux Riders meet monthly on the third Tuesday of each month at 6 PM. New members are always welcome. Drop by and introduce yourself. Regular meeting are held September through May. Other meetings with rides are arranged during the summer months. Check schedule below for locations and dates.

Saturday Morning Breakfast
The breakfast location is currently at member Tim Konidas’s restaurant "The Garden Cafe" at 1322 Jackson St. (formerly Gus’s Family Restaurant) near downtown Sioux City.  Tim serves free coffee to Big Sioux Riders.  Map Location:  http://tinyurl.com/856h67d.

Dues
Our annual dues are $20 member or $25 for a family. Most of the dues go to help pay for dinner at the Christmas party and other miscellaneous costs and expenses. You can pay your dues and complete a membership form at Bak BMW Victory in Sioux City. Dave is currently our club treasurer. The 2012 Club President is Jim Johnson, Dan Watson is Vice-President, Brion Hase is the Secretary, and Jo Martin is our Sunshine Lady. You may also pay your dues online using the PayPal link on the left.

The Big Sioux Rider's October monthly meeting will be Tuesday, October 16th at the House of Q on Transit Avenue in Sioux City at 6:00 PM.  

The November meeting will be be November 20th @ 6 PM at the same location.

I got an email from Gary J. trying to find out who is riding to the Fort Ransom Rally next weekend.  We haven't had much discussion about who is going where lately, so maybe its time.  Post your comments below or contact Gary directly.  Lots places to still go before the snow flies.

Anyone going to Dakota Classic camping rally at Fort Ranson, ND this weekend?  Frump  can't go, but maybe someone else can?  I hear its a good little BMW rally and its pretty close.

The Central Iowa Airhead Campout Sept 21-13 near Stuart and Panora, IA is even closer?


You can't vote for Ms. BBQ if you not going to Bikes, Blues and BBQ on Sept 24-26 in Fayetteville, AR?

Central Iowa Airhead Campout - Sept 21-23, 2012

The Central Iowa Airheads invite all Airheads to Iowa's First Airhead Event, September 21-23, 2012, at Nations' Bridge Park, located between Stuart and Panora, Iowa. The Park is on the banks of the Raccoon River, offering lots of shade, restrooms and showers. 
 
The weekend offers plenty of activities:Friday, Indianola Bike Night (http://bikedowntoitown.com/), Saturday, Winterset Bike Night (http://madisoncounty.com/index.php?page=winterset-bikenight), and Sunday, Two Rivers' Vintage Motorcycle Club (http://www.tworiversvmc.org/) and The Heart of Iowa's BMW annual event, The Concours de Cornfield, located at Earlham. (Antiques AND BMWs for display,  peoples-choice judging, and field events)
 
Camping fees and meals will be left to the individuals, Saturday afternoon we'll plan to have the campfire and smoker going!

New Saturday Breakfast Location - Tim's Garden Cafe, Sioux City

We have changed the Saturday morning group breakfast location a couple weeks ago to Tim's Garden Cafe until further notice.  You may ask why?  Well, it might be because getting over the bridge has become a pain in the butt right now, or it could be we tried to close down the Town House Cafe and failed, or it might be a simple as Al likes the way his eggs benedict looks at Tim's.   Al said there was a club vote, but he may have been the only one who showed up that morning.  No one really knows exactly why the change, other then it just seemed like a good time for a change.

Directions: Take the downtown exit (147B) off of I-29.  Go 5 blocks north, jog one block east (right) to Jackson, turn back north (left) on Jackson and go to 14th Street.  its on the corner of 14th and Jackson - you can't miss it.  If you do, call me at 712-253-4650 and I'll send someone to find you.
