First Annual Fall Campout

Hi Everyone,

Here are the details which we have on the campout this weekend.

The Campout is for both nights of October 14 and 15th at Newton Hills State Park.  The park is 10 miles south of Canton.  Format similar to the Spring Campout.  We have reserved spots 98E and 100E.  If we run out of space, we will rent more.   We can have 6 people on a spot.  There are no cabins currently available that weekend.  From personal experience the old motel in Caton is a little sketchy.  The weather is actually looking pretty good, there are lots of trees at this park so the colors should be pretty cool.   I believe we have about 12 people committed right now.

Meals/Eatings:
Meet at Paul's Place for dinner Friday night at 7 p.m.   The restaurant is about 0.5 miles west of Canton, SD on Hwy 18.
Matt at Laurie's Cafe for breakfast in Canton on Saturday morning around 8 AM.  Its located 219 E 6th St, in Canton, about a block and half SE of downtown area.
Saturday evening at Newton Hills State park - brats, beans, chips, and surprise desert.
Sunday morning breakfast - We are work'n on something.

Camping, meal and vehicle permit - $20
Meat Only Saturday night - $8.
Vehicle Permit - $4/day to SD State Parks & Rec.

Please forward to anyone interested.

Thanks.

The 13th Annual Big Sioux Riders Campout will once again be on Mother's Day in 2016.  We are going to start on Friday afternoon again as we have the past two years.  Everyone is welcome to stay and camp with us Friday as well.  This year's location is again the Fort Randall Creek Recreation Area (near Pickstown, SD).  We are working on options for a Friday evening ride for dinner.  There will be a cook out again Saturday evening at the camp ground.  Free, hot coffee will be provided the whole weekend.  This is a low key, low cost get together and a good time for everyone to get out and get their tires warmed out. Friends and all riders are welcome.  The flyer with details is here: http://www.bigsiouxriders.org/13th_Annual_Big_Sioux_Riders_Spring_Campout.pdf
